Licensed partnerChoosing your trek
- Short on time? Short treks near Pokhara give mountain views in a few days.
- Want the icons? Everest Base Camp and Annapurna Base Camp are the most famous for good reason.
- Prefer quiet trails? Langtang and less-visited routes are calmer.
Best time to trek
October to November and March to May bring the clearest skies and most stable weather. Winter treks are possible at lower altitudes; the monsoon (June to September) brings rain and cloud.
Altitude
Many treks go above 3,000 metres. Good itineraries include rest days to help you acclimatise. Check each trek's maximum altitude and altitude profile on its page.
