Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. This page explains which ones TripKathmandu uses and how you control them. You can change your choice at any time:
Essential cookies (always on)
These make the website work and keep it secure. They don't track you, and the site can't work without them.
| Name | Purpose | Kept for |
|---|---|---|
tk_session | Keeps your booking, form or payment steps together while you browse | 120 minutes after your last visit |
tk_consent | Remembers your cookie choice | 6 months |
tk_device | Only for signed-in staff and partners: recognises their device for sign-in security | About 13 months |
remember_web_… | Only if you tick "Remember me" when signing in | Until you sign out |
Our chat assistant keeps your conversation in your browser's session storage, which is cleared when you close the tab.
Analytics
We measure visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which doesn't use cookies and doesn't collect personal data or track you across websites. We don't use any analytics cookies.
Marketing
We don't use advertising or marketing cookies.
Other websites
When you pay by card, you use Himalayan Bank's secure payment page, which sets its own essential cookies for the payment. Links to other sites (for example WhatsApp) are governed by those sites' own policies.
Managing cookies in your browser
Besides Cookie settings, you can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may stop bookings and payments from working.
